SickKids had wanted an easier way to communicate facts to reassure parents of newly diagnosed children. They found it was difficult to tell families what was happening to their children verbally, so a visual aid - and one that families can take home with them was the solution.
Each project I’ve taken on has always taught me something about design or my relationship with it. Wether it’s animations and the value of movement and time, or branding: teaching me the importance of visibility and simplicity - creating infographics taught me the value of space and leading the eye.
